Making Changes to Your Mexico Insurance Policy
An endorsement is a change made to your active policy. While you cannot adjust coverage limits on our packages, other updates are allowed.
You can easily print, reissue, or make small changes to your policy by:
- Logging in to your account
- Filling out an online request form using the buttons below
- Calling us toll-free at (855) 639-7761 Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. MST

Policy Dates: Changes can only be made before the policy starts. The start date cannot be moved to today's date.

Additional Drivers: Drivers must be at least 21 years old (unless noted in the policy application) and hold a valid U.S. or Canadian driver's license.

Vehicle Transfers: If you have a six-month or annual policy, you can transfer coverage to another vehicle one time. This option is not available on other policies.

Adding a Towed Unit: You can add a towed unit only if you have a six-month or annual auto policy. Not available on other policies.
Mexico Insurance Policy Cancellations

Your cancellation options depend on:
- Whether your policy has already started
- Whether your vehicle has entered Mexico.

Refunds
Refunds will be sent to the card you used to purchase your policy and should appear within 1–3 business days, depending on your bank. A cancellation fee equal to half the agency fee will be charged.
Mexico Tourist Auto Refunds

Policies Not Yet in Effect: You will receive a full refund minus the cancellation fee.

Daily policies in Effect: Policies shorter than six months cannot be refunded once the coverage has started.

Six-Month Policies: Refunds are available within 20 days of the policy start date if the policy is in effect.

Annual Policies: You can receive a partial refund within the first 30 days of coverage only.
Mexico Homeowners Refunds
Before the Policy Starts: You will receive a refund, minus a cancellation fee.
Policies in Effect: Refunds are prorated based on the terms and conditions of the policy.
Mexico Tourist Auto Claims
Report All Claims in Mexico, at the scene of the accident. Use the toll-free number on your policy, but remember:
