Mexico Watercraft Laws
Liability and legal coverage in Mexico has become significantly more important with recent changes in the law. Mexican boat liability insurance is required by law in Mexican waters. And in many cases, it is required at the marinas, before you are able to moor or launch a boat.
If you need coverage, purchase it online in less than five minutes and print the policy required to enter a marina or operate in Mexican waters.
Mexpro's Mexico liability insurance policies cover boats, jet skis, yachts, and other personal watercraft. Like most traditional split limit policies, we offer coverage ranging from $50,000 per person to $250,000 per person for bodily injury. Our policies also include $20,000 in legal assistance and bond coverage. We offer three (3) coverage packages, so you can find the best coverage at a price that fits your budget.
Please note, our policy is limited to the required liability and legal coverage, and does not extend any hull coverage or coverage for passengers of the watercraft.
For more coverage information, please read our watercraft policy terms and conditions.
With Mexpro you have the ability to purchase boat or jet ski insurance for Mexico that best suits your needs. We offer policies on a daily basis or annual terms. Price is primarily based on two factors:
