Rocky Point Mexico in Winter - A Wonderland!

Rocky Point ,MexicoMid-December here in Rocky Point, Mexico and the weather has just dipped below 75-degrees in the last few days. The Sea of Cortez is still warm and the skies are clear and sunny so why would you choose to winter anywhere else?

Visitors from colder climes are walking around in shorts and shirt sleeves and enjoying water sports activities. True, there are other Mexican cities you can spend the winter months in, but they aren’t within driving distance whereas Rocky Point is only an hour from the U.S. border and a 4-hour drive to Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona.

December through February are usually the coldest months in Rocky Point, but you won’t see snow and are lucky if the weather dips below the mid-50’s. Winter is a very active time with many charitable events, parties and get-togethers happening.
