Life takes its twists and turns, most of them unexpected. When we decided to drive to Puerto Peñasco, Mexico, to our granddaughter Shasta Millhollin’s wedding, we prepared for the unknown.

As usual, our trip became an adventure of sorts with the finale in Hawthorne making us happy to be small-town Nevadans:

Some people warned, this isn’t the time to drive to Mexico, but Shasta and her fiancé, Eric Bosom, Phoenix, travel often to the historic fishing village of Rocky Point that’s now a resort, tourist destination site.
