Mexico's finest tenor, Ramon Vargas, celebrates 30 years of singing with 2 concerts in Mexico City. He'll be at the Auditorio Nacional on September 15 with a Mariachi group and at the Palacio de Bellas Artes on October 30, performing in Act 1 of La Boheme and Act 1 of L'Elisir de Amore. One of the world's great orchestras, the Chicago Symphony, will present a single concert in Mexico City led by renowned conductor Ricardo Muti. The concert is Wednesday, October 10. The program includes the overture to Verdi’s “Nabucco,” Mendelssohn’s 'Italian' Symphony and Brahms’ Symphony No. 2. The same concert will also be given on Monday, October 8 at the Teatro Juárez in Guanajuato. Tickets are available at the box office or through Ticketmaster.

Philip Glass' opera 'Einstein on the Beach' will be given on November 9, 10 and 11.
