Baja California Christmas Border Events
Thursday (Dec. 20) and Friday (Dec. 21): Opera Ambulante, a group of singers directed by Mario Montenegro, presents a Baja California Christmas concert entitled “Snow and Ice” at the entrance hall of the Tijuana Cultural Center (Cecut). Tickets are 180 pesos, about $14.
Saturday: (Dec. 22nd): Polën presents the Arts & Trees Winter Art and Music festival featuring stalls with art and clothing as well as live music by the bands Sixties Guns, Glasmus, Ratigan, Love & Skull, Deer Dear and Hot Lunch. At Zebras Mexican Pub on Avenida Revolución at Sixth Street from 1 p.m to 11 p.m.
Saturday (Dec. 22nd): A parade of Christmas boats is planned in Ensenada harbor. The public is invited to watch from the Plaza La Ventana al Mar (at the giant flag near the tourist district). The festivities, including Christmas carol performances, start at 4:30 p.m., with the boat parade scheduled to launch at 6:30 p.m.
